Dinny's Retreat is our beautiful 1 bedroom holiday cottage situated on the edge our family-run livestock farm, in the hamlet of Selside, close to Kendal and the Lake District. The cottage is perfectly located for exploring the Lake District (A car is highly recommended!) Just 9 miles from Bowness on Windermere, 11 from Ambleside and 23 miles from Keswick, The cottage was lovingly created from an old farm building in 2012 and is dog friendly accepting up to 2 well behaved dogs. The space Downstairs in Dinny's Retreat, the front door opens into the entrance hall with doors leading to the bathroom with jacuzzi bath and corner shower, and into the bedroom with king sized bed. Double doors from the bedroom lead out into a private back yard with patio furniture. Upstairs is a large open plan kitchen/living room with well equipped kitchen, dining table, sofa, log burning stove and views across the fields and fells.
