Rimba Alor Orchard Villas (Villa Rimba)

Rimba Alor comprises a 1.7-acre orchard with a variety of fruit trees. There is also a 170 x 50 foot and 8 feet deep fishing pond with among others. There is a well next to which is an outdoor shower with water sourced from an underground spring. On site there is also an outdoor barbeque area, a wooden gazebo overlooking the pond. The grounds are equipped with solar lighting. The trees and the spacious scenic grounds also make for a perfect setting for romantic weddings and fun family reunions. The space Villa Rimba is one of two individual wooden houses with timber flooring, which sits on a 1.7-acre orchard surrounded by lush tropical greens and flowers and local fruit trees. The villa design is inspired by the traditional Malacca Malay ‘kampung’ or village house. Its unique feature is the decorative flower motif tiled front stairway. The Villa is equipped with air-conditioned bedrooms, attached toilets with hot water showers, living and dining hall and well-equipped full kitchen. The villa is wheelchair accessible. On the grounds is a 170 x 50 feet x 8 feet deep fishing pond, a charming traditional designed wooden gazebo overlooking the pond, a well with an outdoor shower with water sourced from an underground spring, a large outdoor barbeque area with Nyonya -inspired tiled table tops and wooden benches as well as outdoor tables and chairs with patio umbrellas for shade. The grounds are equipped with solar lighting. A spacious parking area next to the Villa is provided free of charge. The Villa also offers food delivery service for a variety of food, both Western and local, prepared by Melaka Pindah villagers. For an authentic taste of ‘kampung’ life, Guests may pre-order a selected menu of kampung style dishes for breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. Selections include ‘masak lemak daging’ or ‘itek salai’, ‘asam pedas’ as well as traditional Malay / Nyonya kueh. Guests can try their luck at the fishing pond, enjoy a traditional massage/spa/reflexology at the gazebo overlooking the pond, a karaoke session at the living hall, or watch a movie outdoors set against the backdrop of the evening sky, with a screen projector, picnic on ‘Mengkuang’ mats (throw cushions provided), or listen to the live performances of traditional music by the ‘Dondang Sayang’ group from Kg.
