The Temple House

The Temple House is an inner city sanctuary located in the International District, minutes to downtown Seattle. It's a one of a kind artistic craftsman perched on a hillside with western views of the Olympic Mountains and beautiful sunsets. The house and deck are surrounded by bamboo, making for a very private setting. Once inside the gate you feel removed from the city. The space The Temple House has loads of charm and period touches. Perfect for a romantic getaway or the ultimate Seattle experience. No parties please. Upstairs has the master bedroom with deluxe king sized bed that is connected to a full bath with large tub/shower. Bathroom is surrounded by trees for privacy. Beautiful western views from master. Also upstairs is a very large living space with a comfortable twin American Leather over-sized sleeper chair (fold out bed that sleeps 1 person under 300 lbs), and vintage doors and windows that open out to 2 decks and amazing views. Main level has a bedroom with a queen sized bed and a bathroom with great shower next to it. Main level also has a fully stocked, charming, stainless steel kitchen which is surrounded by greenery. Also on the main level is a large, beautiful music/yoga room with a piano. This house is not ideal for toddlers. There's a staircase without a gate and the bedrooms are on two different levels. Property is surrounded by a wooden fence and beautiful, carved, antique Indonesian front door. There is a gorgeous deck with mature trees growing through it and a picnic table and hammock. Washer/dryer is located in the basement. Free street parking in front of the house and throughout the neighborhood. No permit needed. It’s generally easy to find a spot. Guest access Guests have full access to house. Other things to note Even though our property is very peaceful and private, we are inner city so there are city sounds (ie, air traffic, occasional sirens, etc...)
