The Nest is located in the countryside between Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio and Lake Bolsena. It is a large private estate surrounded by about 100 acres of woodland totally at your disposal for unique nature walks in the wilderness. The Nest is a completely self contained bungalow with use of kitchen and laundry and a wood stove. It is ideal for people that want complete peace, and to be fully immersed in nature, literally nestled in an oak grove bird lovers will be overjoyed. The space The main house is an ancient tower built around 1200a.d with additions from 1500a.d which include a vaulted fresco which you can arrange to view if interested. Guest access The grounds are very vast and you are welcome to explore, I will give you directions for the paths, there are some Etruscan tombs on the property that can be visited and are easily reached by a 10 minute walk. You will be provided with fresh eggs from our chickens for your breakfast and fresh vegetables from our garden according to season if you so wish. The water from the taps is from our own spring and is very pure and safe to drink.
