Welcome to Sunset Cottage, situated on a laneway footsteps from Byron Bay’s lively town centre. Not only is the cottage a stone’s throw from world class restaurants, clubs and boutiques but also hidden cafes and bars. Sunset cottage is a casual 10 minute walk to some of Australia’s most popular and iconic beaches and is the perfect base to explore this stunning stretch of coastline and forage in local markets for organic fresh produce and stunning artisan wares. The space A brand new facelift to one of the last iconic ‘Aussie holiday shacks’ in the Byron Bay town centre, has seen her transformed into a cool, functional and fun space, thoughtfully designed and executed with our guests in mind. A modern gourmet kitchen, with Bosch and Smeg appliances, services light and bright living areas, including a large covered outdoor deck complete with big gas BBQ. There are 2 bedrooms on the sunset side of the house, furnished with brand new comfortable beds. The first bedroom has 1 Queen room with seating, ample luggage storage, drawers and wardrobe for hanging your clothes. The second bedroom has 2 King single beds, a desk and both rooms have block out curtains and ceiling fans. There are 3 wet areas in the home. A separate toilet, shower, also complete with washing machine and dryer and a hot outdoor shower to wash off sand and salt from one of the country’s best surfing beaches. Please note we don’t supply beach towels. The home also comes with free NBN Wi-Fi as well as access to Netflix and Smart TV. Technology. On cooler days, have fun with outdoor games on the lawn, board games and easy reading books and novels for your enjoyment. There is reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable in summer and winter as well as ceiling and wall fan in the bedrooms. With privacy in mind, the property has full secure timber fencing and the automatic gates allow for easy off street parking. There is additional all day, free parking available just outside the gate…a rarity in Byron Bay. Just to highlight the features of the home: 2 bedrooms complete with all linen and bath towels only. You have an outdoor clothesline. You have a lawn. Other things to note At times the other side of the Cottage may be booked separately. If this is the case you will share a common wall. You will have complete privacy and own parking spot and entrance.This works well to accommodate smaller groups at the same time. If you have any questions please ask me prior to booking and I’ll be happy to clarify. Because of this we cannot accommodate children under the age of 5 years old. We have a family of water dragon lizards on the property, they've been there for generations and are very tame. They can be quite curious but don't worry they won't hurt you if they're left alone.
