Berry Cottage Escape. Beach, Wineries & Village

Escape to our 2-bedroom sandstone cottage on 3 acres of award-winning gardens, just 1 km from Seven Mile Beach and 6 km from Berry Village. Perfect for couples or families, with stunning north-facing views, cosy interiors and thoughtful touches throughout. Relax by the fire pit in winter, enjoy breezy summer days, and explore nearby wineries, walks, and beaches. The space There are two ground floor bedrooms with very comfortable queen size beds, with quality linen. In winter we provide hot water bottles and heaters. There is also a cosy, downstairs sitting area with a sofa bed. We have a full kitchen with everything you will need, from tea, coffee, milk, muesli, cling wrap, salt & pepper and cooking oil to an oven, microwave, electric fry pan and coffee machine. There is a dining table with chairs for six. The sitting area upstairs is furnished with large and comfortable leather lounges, there is a TV with Netflix, a DVD player and a stereo, there is a selection of DVD's and CD's provided. We provide NBN Wi-Fi. There is a small reading library, a chess set and board games. There is a large bathroom with shower and egg shaped marble bath. In the summer you can enjoy the outdoor shower after a visit to Berry Beach. We have an outdoor cabana with a firepit (fire starters and wood provided). Its an ideal spot to have an afternoon snooze, read a book, to watch the sunset with a glass of local wine or to toast a marshmallow. The outdoor courtyard, shaded by a huge London Plane tree, is a great place to dine, entertain and use the BBQ. There is mood lighting. Downstairs is a laundry with washing machine & dryer, plus an extra fridge. Guest access You have full use of the cabana, and the garden which was featured in the 2016, 2018, 2019 & 2024 Berry Gardens Festival. There is swing for the children and lots of space to run around, kick a ball, play cricket, fly a kite, feed the fish or pat one of our cats. Many guests enjoy a picnic under the trees or in the cabana, we provide a picnic basket. You are welcome to stroll down to the dam and feed the fish, we have more than 60 large and colorful Japanese koi. Other things to note We are just 6 km's back into Berry or 1 km down to Berry Beach (seven miles of often secluded beach). We are in the middle of the Shoalhaven Wine District, many great wineries just a short drive away. We are handy to many local walks, including the Drawing Room Rocks and the Kiama Coastal Walk, not to mention lovely beach walks from the end of our road to either Gerroa or Shoalhaven Heads. We are also handy to Kiama, Gerringong, Jamberoo, Kangaroo Valley, Nowra, the Southern Highlands and the whitest sand in the world at Hyams Beach. Registration Details PID-STRA-2557-1
