RARE FIND - Countryside Cabin (riverside decking)

💎RARE FIND💎 A rural, peaceful riverside hotel room in a field! An idyllic countryside getaway just 10 minutes from j26 of the M5. Sitting in the grounds of an equestrian center. With surrounding scenic views of the Blackdown & Quantock hills. Toast provided marshmallows under the stars on your own private decking area over the river Tone. Take a walk around the lake, with romantic solar-lit seating & picnic benches. The space Set in a peaceful field nestled in the Somerset countryside adjacent to the River Tone. The 5 acre field is shared with 3 other glamping units spaced generously apart. Countryside cabin has a double bed with fresh white linens, tea and coffee making facilities, small fridge, outdoor seating and a deck over the river with fire pit and additional seating. Wood supplied for fire pit! There is an outside shower and compost loo located right next to the lodge. There is also a flushable loo and hot shower located on site if required. Check out our other getaway retreats ‘Sunset Shepherds hut’, ‘Riverside Retreat” and ‘Lakeside Lodge’. Guest access The cabin is set within a working equestrian centre so we ask guests to be quiet and respectful around the stable yard area and the 3 other retreats along the river. Please feel free to walk around the 6 acre field the pod is located in. There is a great walk just across the river on a public footpath which follows the river tone for a good 2 miles. If you don't fancy braving the river crossing you can walk into the village and access it that way. Other things to note There is no cutlery in the cabin only a fire pit outside to cook on but please bring your own utensils, pots and pans etc. Guests can park right next to the pod. Unfortunately there are no cooking facilities other than the outside fire pit. Our local pub 'The White Horse inn' is only a ten minute walk/2min drive away and does good food until 9pm. Flip flops would be worth packing for getting to and from the shower room. Bring warm clothes for the colder times of the year! ***WINTER BOOKINGS*** Please note although the pod has a small heater inside, the toilet and shower shed does not. It will be cold going to and from the pod to the shower and loo so please bring warm clothes and appropriate foot wear. DURING WINTER MONTHS COLD WATER ONLY IS AVAILABLE FOR THE SHOWER however we do have an on site flushable toilet and year round hot shower if required located centrally in the glamping field. A few additional blankets will be worth bringing for those that really feel the cold!
