Weavers cottage is notably one of the oldest cottages in the historic town of Carmarthen sited on the river Towy. Carmarthen lays claim to being one of, the oldest towns in Wales. Weavers cottage is conveniently located on the doorstep of the town centre, a 5 minute walk will take you to the nearest shops and restaurants. The space The cottage has a living room which has four comfy seats and plenty of stools and cushions. There is a large television and Wifi. The first staircase leads to a double bedroom. There is also a twin room adjacent and also a toilet and sink on the same level. There is an additional surprise bedroom leading from the kitchen via a steep paddle staircase. This currently has one single bed but should further accommodation be required I am sure we can find an inflatable mattress. We don’t allow smoking in the house but there is a small back yard with table and chairs. This area is a real suntrap in the summer and always pretty with bedding plants. The kitchen is modern with a microwave. There is a table that seats four but is expandable to seat another two. The parking is in a secure carpark literally 1 minute walk to Weavers. Has plenty of EV charging points. Other things to note This is a town house located on a busy main road and may be subject to some traffic noise. Double glazing has been installed . The cottage is ideally located for guests visiting on business, students visiting the university or guests using it as a base to enjoy the local area.
