As before, our sheets and towels are washed AT 90 degrees C with a special detergent-disinfectant liquid and ironed in high temperature. We leave space 2 days before your arrival and 2 days after your departure for next guests. The apartment is the ideal starting point to explore all the city on foot, being very close to every single attraction Thessaloniki has to offer. If you have come by car or you do have a rental car there is a covered parking which you will pay by the day or by the hour, in 50 meters distance. The neighborhood is full of artisan coffee shops, contemporary bars, and cool pop-up food markets. Just a couple of minutes walk from Aristotelous square, Sain Dimitrios churche, Rotonda, the Ancient Roman Agora and several Byzantine monuments and cathedrals. Right next to the door, pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants and bars. Commercial streets Egnatia and Tsimiski with many shops are very close. For night life visit Ladadika and Valaoritou street in 5 minutes walk. Spacious and elegant this apartment in Venizelou str near Old Town Hall of the city is facing the back of the building and is a real treat! Everything is within walking distance! It used to be our family residence a long time ago and has just been renovated and decorated by my son John, structural engineer and my daughter Christina, an architect with an elegant taste and careful attention to details. It is located on the 3rd floor of a neoclassical building,there is no elevator, (you climb up 4 floors by staircase) in a residential safe area. It is a quite building of only one apartment per floor. The apartment entrance opens onto a corridor where you will access the fully equipped kitchen with anything you may need to cook your own favorite meal.French coffee maker, electric oven, refrigerator, pots, pan, cutlery, dishes.glasses,greek mountain tea, coffee, olive oil, salt and dried herbs. There is an expandable dining table for six where you can sit with your laptop as well. Kitchen is a very bright with a wide window door and a window looking at the flower-filled 6m2 balcony or take your breakfast outside in the wooden table nestled among flowers. Then is the living room, with a sofa bed where 2 people can sleep, an armchair and the smart tv. A window and a wide window door open to the flower-filled veranda and let natural light come in. During hot summer days you can turn on the aircondition in each bedroom. To relax you can close the wooden shutters providing a cool , dark, comforting space, naturally aired. As this is a house roofed with tiles, during summer keeping shutters closed before you leave, it will keep the temperature cool and perfect. After the living room there is the master bedroom ,with a queen size bed, a wardrobe and a wooden bench. The bathroom is equipped with towels and bathroom amenities. There is a shower glass enclosure. This flat has all the 'home from home' comforts you could wish for while you enjoy your stay here. Guest access There is not an elevator so guests can access the apartment climbing up a bright staircase that can take you to the 4rth floor, ( you climb up 4 floors by staircase) Guests have access to all of the apartment spaces. Store your clothes in the wardrobes. During the night people in this building use to lock the main entrance door for safety! From the airport take the bus No 01Χ , get off at bus stop Platia Aristotelous and walk for 3 minutes to reach the apartment.If you choose to take a taxi from the airport the cost will be 25 euros. In case you are travelling by car there is a covered paid parking off premises in 1 minute walking distance. I can arrange it for you if you ask me. Other things to note There are some things I ask from my guests while leaving the apartment as to tidy up, do the dishes , take out the garbage( i have left more than one plastic bag in the shelves) and clear the fridge and shelves of any food they brought with them. That is to keep the house clear from bad smells especially from kitchen garbage. I am not usually on the property upon arrival but I am available for anything you need during your stay. As I live outside the city center it's not possible to be there when you arrive late.
