Other things to note Wallaby Beach House sits at the quiet eastern end of Baudin Beach on Hog Bay Road, with direct private access to the safe, sheltered sands of Browns Beach – perfect for kids, swimming and shell collecting. Baudin Beach is a peaceful coastal hamlet just 10–12 minutes’ drive from Penneshaw (ferry, supermarket, pub, cafés, pharmacy). The house is surrounded by native bush, so expect visiting wallabies and birds. Mobile reception is good! The last 800 m of Road towards Wallaby Beach House is unsealed but well-maintained and suitable for all vehicles. Pure Kangaroo Island serenity!
