Come reconnect with nature in this peaceful retreat filled with natural light & bohemian decor. Surrounded by aspen groves and old growth pines, your master suite has a private entrance, cozy fireplace, & hydrotherapy hot tub. Spend your days reading in the hammock, watching a sunset on your private deck, & exploring local trails. This space is nestled in the foothills allowing you to explore Denver, see a concert at the epic Red Rocks Amphitheater (20 min), or find an adventure in the mountains The space ** This is listing is an entire space that is attached to our family home. You have your own private entrance, bathroom and kitchenette. We're excited to share our mountain sanctuary with you and hope that it fills you with joy, peace, and relaxation. Aspen groves and 300 year old pine trees tower over our entire property making it the perfect place to slow down and be present. There is a macramé swing, a hammock, and a yoga mat for you to reconnect with nature. In the summer, you can find wild flowers and listen to the birds chirping. Transitioning to fall, the aspens transform into a magical, golden color. Winter ushers in a snowy wonderland as the pines are covered in heavy snow. Finally, spring arrives with the peaceful sounds of the snowmelt stream flowing through the property. Your private, master suite has vaulted ceilings and is flooded with natural light blurring the lines between inside and outside. Catch up on rest on the Purple mattress and by soaking in the luxurious hot tub. When you wake up, you can enjoy delicious coffee in bed while looking out the french doors and hearing the birds chirp. The decor is globally inspired from the Moroccan rug to the Balinese lamps and the Guatemalan textile. The kitchenette includes a mini-fridge, Breville smart oven, microwave, coffee maker, tea/pour-over kettle, dishes, silverware, and even a mixology set for those evenings spent around the fire. To get you started, we provide specialty coffee, tea, 2 frozen breakfast burritos, 2 sparkling waters, and 2 craft beers. If you'd like to do some cooking outside, we have a barbecue grill that you're welcome to use on the back of the home. There is a grocery store and a few local restaurants just a 5 minute drive up the road in Aspen Park. Feel free to check out our local restaurant recommendations in the Guidebook on the Airbnb app. The en suite bathroom is designed to give you a Zen, spa-like experience. We have used natural materials including natural stones and glass. We use organic linens, bamboo paper products, and Raw Sugar soaps. Our house runs on a well that's 70 years old, so we ask that you please use the shower to bathe rather than the bathtub. We bought the hydrotherapy hot tub for you to enjoy a good soak. With cooler weather, you have the option of indoor gas fireplace, outdoor gas fireplace, or a relaxing soak in the hot tub. The hot tub includes 61 jets, an oversized lounger, and a Volcano floor jet for foot massage. It is the perfect end to a day spent hiking, skiing, or exploring Denver. If it's a clear night, you can stargaze from the lounger in the spa. The hot tub is always open and is reserved just for guests. We ask that you are mindful of your conversation volume and do not play loud music outside after 8pm. We do our best to minimize noise, but you may hear us some as the Prana Suite is attached to the main house. We provide eye masks and a white noise sound machine for you to get the best night of sleep. There are also two locked doors with sound dampening pads separating the Prana Suite from the main house to give you privacy and security. For those that have an additional guest or two, we have an additional mattress that you can use for an additional $35/night/person. Please be sure all guests are listed on your reservation. Additionally, we have a glamping tent on the edge of our property that we occasionally use/rent on Airbnb seasonally. These guests do not have access to your private deck or hot tub unless you are all one group and you give them permission. *We live at 8,000 feet in the foothills of the Rockies and we receive quite a lot of snow (Nov-May). We recommend AWD/4WD and good tires to safely access our house if there is snow. Please keep an eye on the weather and drive carefully. We look forward to hosting you soon!
