The space The farmhouse is situated on 14 acres of land so a private area to read and contemplate,the pool and large panoramic terrace is in commune so if you wish to mix with other guests . Guest access "Il Frantoio"(The olive press) This part of the house was originally used to press the olives from the land to make extra virgin olive oil. Ideal for a family of 4-5 persons (put up bed for child under 12 years). It has now been carefully restored to preserve the original feel. Ground floor - dining/living area with corner kitchen and shower room. one double and one twin bedroom with the space for an additional bed if required. It has a covered private out door veranda, just leading from the kitchen, perfect for eating and relaxing in the shade. •Each Apartment has a TV, the apartments are furnished and fully equipped in order to assure a most comfortable stay. •All kitchens have marble-based work tops, fridge with small freezer and gas hob. Also provided are the dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery and kitchen utensils. •Each shower room is tastefully furnished with marble flooring, toilet, bidet and spacious showers. •All apartments have shaded private terraces, perfect for eating al-fresco. •A communal barbecue area is also located outside the house. Why not grill the famous “Bistecca alla Fiorentina” (Florentine Steak) as cooked in the traditional Tuscan way. •Il Porcile (The Pigsty) Laundry Room: The old “Porcile has been restored and transformed into a communal Laundry area available for all guests. •The guests have the use of the swimming pool with sun loungers and chairs. The garden that surrounds our infinity pool is fenced in and has a gate that small children cannot open, The width and length is 7mt X 14mt The depth is 1,20mt and 1,50mt. The pool is unsupervised so we ask for all children to be accompanied by an adult. No dogs are allowed in the pool area. The pool is open from May until mid October. Please check with Paolo. They Slowly and carefully restored the house preserving the original character and charm, its renovation was completed in 2004, it was named after the numerous secular Mulberry trees on the property. “I Gelsi ” has retained its original atmosphere, but of course essential modern creature comforts have been added including wi-fi through out .
