The Old Pottery in the Cornish Countryside

Welcome to a high standard hideaway in the tranquil heart of Maen Valley. Roam the 5 acre farmstead or simply relax in the gardens. Ideally located for Maenporth and Swanpool beaches, coastal path and vibrant Falmouth by car, cycle or foot as well as the Uni campus. The local village boasts a pub, restaurant (both dog friendly), and shop. The golf course, water sports facilities, Treba, Penjerrick and Glen Durgan gardens are all nearby. The Helford has a year round dog friendly beach and pub. The space The Old Pottery has been furnished to a modern high standard with a well equipped kitchen and also a log burner for those cosy nights in after your days explorations. A barbecue and seating area are just outside your door for those sunny evenings. We also have a large king size bedroom with private bathroom available to book separately on Airbnb. Therefore, if you were travelling as a group of 4 then both can be booked to accommodate friends and family. Please feel free to contact us to discuss accommodating your needs. Guest access Guest have access to the gardens, seating areas and BBQ facilities. There are numerous countryside walks, perfect for keen walkers and exercising dogs. Other things to note IMPORTANT We are happy to accommodate dogs in The Old Pottery. One large breed or a maximum of 2 small to medium onsite during your stay. Importantly, any dogs onsite must not be left unattended and must be kept on a lead around the animals. We also ask that muddy pooches and paws are cleaned and dried off before you take them inside. Water is available. Please note bookings with dogs must be made by prior arrangement via the host.
