A rural retreat within easy access of Borris, Graiguenamanagh 7km, New Ross 25km and Kilkenny 30km. Dublin 1 hour 30 min drive. An ideal location for a relaxing break away, action packed adventure or a base to explore the Sunny Southeast. Enjoy walking, hiking, fishing, canoeing, cycling, swimming & more. The space The spectacular view of the weir on the River Barrow is Aras na hAbhann's most striking feature. The river sets the tone here, whether it is flowing by gently or rushing past in a raging torrent. It will not go unnoticed. So hang around and enjoy it. A walk, a swim, hire a canoe or a bicycle? All available locally. Guest access Guests will have sole use of the guesthouse comprising of a modern open plan well fitted out kitchen / dining / living area downstairs with wood burning stove and bathroom containing shower and WC. Upstairs are two double bedrooms plus bathroom with bath, shower and WC. Private patio area with BBQ and patio tables and chairs. Access to the river from the house. Other things to note Josie's and Fritz's home is located on the banks of the River Barrow outside Borris below the Blackstair Mountains.
