Right in the village you will find the famous Pfarrwitwenhaus from 1719, the natural stone church from 1350 (probably the oldest building on the Mönchgut) and the small fishing port, from where you can complete the village round over the dike. No matter which direction you walk in, you will be overwhelmed by the fabulous view over the many bays and headlands. Also in the village there are the small village shops, which offers fresh rolls in the morning and also some other things, as well as fishermen, who offer smoked food, a shepherd, who sells wool and also honey and 3 restaurants. You can go on foot directly to excursions to the Zickers' mountains (including small cliffs with great stones to collect and throw) or go by bike to the wide and long beach (2.5 km), to the Lots Tower to Thiessow, to Klein Zicker, Alt Reddevitz, Middelhagen, etc. Between Thiessow and Klein Zicker (5 km) is Rügen's popular surf area with rental and surf school. The beautiful seaside resorts of Göhren, Sellin, Binz and the Rasende Roland can also be reached by car or bike. And then there is Granitz Castle, Königsstuhl, Cape Arkona, the Störtebeker Festival and much more...
