THE EXTERIOR: TWHOLM has a 300 sq. meter private garden, facing Lake Maggiore, with a fantastic view of the lake - only 150 meters away -, pristine green fields and the Swiss Alps in the horizon. Surrounded by nature, with beautiful treks just outside the door. A beautiful wooden deck with sun loungers and a fantastic Jacuzzi in the garden, makes it for great sunsets overlooking the lake, while sipping a beer, a glass of fine wine and Italian aperitifs together with your spouse, family or friends. TWHOLM's patio with its teak table for 6 is ideal for breakfast, bbq lunches and alfresco dining with great views of the lake and a peaceful atmosphere to recharge and rejuvenate. TWHOLM's bbq allows for tasty grills with Italian meats, veggies, fresh fish from one of the many supermarkets nearby. A twin Hammock makes TWHOLM's outdoor patio great for late afternoon naps or evening talks under a starry sky; mosquitos can be present all over the lake area in the hot summer months, so we recommend mosquito repellent; TWHOLM comes with mosquito nets, so you can comfortably sleep with open windows at night. TWHOLM offers complimentary private parking with your own garage with direct access inside the Villa, and unique pin coded lock for 24hr independent check-in. Owners live next door, so you can always ask for suggestions, tips and assistance and ensure the house lives up to its highest standards and a prompt courteous service is always at hand. LOCATION: TWHOLM is located on the eastern side of Lake Maggiore, so its position awards the villa with direct sunlight all day and spectacular sunsets; this make the house extremely bright, with great ambience, natural light entering its windows and ceiling windows during the day, hence its name, The White House On Lake Maggiore. TWHOLM is 35min to Malpensa Airport (MXP) or the Swiss border if you arrive by car. Great day trips to explore the area, including Varese (20 min.), Milan (45 min.), Lake Como (45 min), Lugano (45 min.), Stresa and the Borromee islands (40 min.), and lots more. You can exercise or do yoga in the garden, walk around the 1 mile block surrounded by nature, trek in the woods (300 meters), walk or jog on Ispra's beautiful lakefront (3 min by car), go horseback riding (10 min walk from home), sail on the lake, drive around and do many more activities.
