2 Bed Cottage Dog/Family Friendly Close to Beach

A charming, traditional, dog & family friendly two bedroom cottage in the village of Edern. Walking distance to Morfa Nefyn, sandy beaches, several pubs & restaurants including the world famous Ty Coch Inn, Wales coastal path & Golf course. We have a lounge, family dining area, fully equipped kitchen, log fire, free WiFi, smart TV. Two bedrooms - super king bed (or split into twin) and double bed in room 2. Plus a huge, enclosed, lawned garden & Summer house, seating & BBQ to enjoy evenings. The space Fron is a traditional cottage resting in the village of Edern, near to Morfa Nefyn, offering family accommodation. The cottage has a private entrance into a hallway leading to an open plan lounge and dining room, log fire, two armchairs, single click clack sofa bed (made up on request). A smart TV, Netflix, DVDs, books, games and free, unlimited WiFi. The dining area has a table and room to sit four comfortably. The separate kitchen is fully fitted with fridge (with ice box), cooker, oven, microwave and washing machine. With back door leading to the garden. Note - there is no large freezer. Upstairs there is a large family bathroom with bath and electric shower. Bedroom One A large super king bed (or split to form single twin beds), clothes rail, chest of drawers, Smart TV with Netflix, Disney, Amazon Prime and DVD player. Bedroom Two Double bed, clothes rail and armchair. There is space in the main bedroom for a travel cot with mattress, upon request. There is a fixed child safety gate at the top of the stairs. There is a booster seat for the chairs in the dining room and changing mat. Plus a selection of children's games, DVDs, lego and huge garden play mat in the summer house. Outside A long, enclosed garden with a winding lawn with separate access down a private, gated alleyway. Through the jasmine arch in the middle of the garden leading to a second lawned space to our secret Summer House - a place to escape, read a book & relax. Inside a day, single bed, armchairs & books. At the top of the garden is outdoor dining table seating 4, parasol, loungers & BBQ; ideal for enjoying sunny evenings with family & friends. Perfect for your children & dogs to run around. Stroll two minutes into the village of Edern at the end of the lane to find a pub serving delicious food, a shop & butchers. A wider selection of amenities can be enjoyed in the nearby town of Morfa Nefyn (20 mins walk), with plenty of shops, pubs & eateries to sample, as well as the popular Ty Coch pub and Morfa Nefyn Golf Club. The nearest beach is only a 25 minute walk up the steep road, or a more leisurely route through the fields to the coastal path. There are also several beautiful dog friendly, sandy beaches a short drive away such as Penllech, Abadaron and Pwhelli. The Llyn Peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is renowned for its scenery & varied walking routes, with coastal paths being a major attraction for the avid walker. This is also an excellent base to explore Snowdonia. A great location for golfers, walkers, cyclists, surfers. Guest access You will have FULL ACCESS of the entire property and grounds including all rooms and a large, private, enclosed garden. You will not be disturbed. This property is NOT on or linked to owners property. Separate private access through side gate at front of cottage, down alleyway to the garden, or through the back door in the kitchen. None of the property is shared with the owners or neighbours. We CANNOT guarantee the garden is fully enclosed as there is a hedge down the bottom left side which small dogs can dig under. PLEASE supervise your dog at all times. We have fenced off the bottom, fully down the right side and most of the large holes in the bottom of the hedge on the left side. Other things to note Check in is after 4pm. Check out is 10.30am. Where possible we will message you to offer an early check-in and check-out. We offer clean bed linens and towels (2 small hand towels per person) as part of your stay. Plus a tea towel, bath mat, tea/coffee/cooking oil. And cleaning products for your use if needed. Please bring your own beach towels. Pease bring your own fresh food essentials such as milk, bread. We welcome well behaved dogs but request they do not sleep on the furniture or beds. Please bring your one dog beds and towels. We politely ask you to remove all dog poop from the garden before you depart. The garden is very large and enclosed. However some smaller dogs maybe able to squeeze under the hedge to the neighbours garden, so please keep an eye out.
