However, you are in the heart of the Quercy Blanc, an area full of life where you can enjoy outdoor markets, fine food, and visit medieval villages. 10km from Montcuq village. The space PLEASE READ CAREFULLY DETAILS DOWN BELOW BECAUSE THIS RENTAL PROVIDES A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE THAT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE! -The house runs 100% on electricity from a small solar installation. -Equipments are limited to the essentials: gas cooker, electric cooler (48 liters), little gas fridge, hot shower powered with gas, no TV, no wifi (but a perfect 4G reception), no washing machine. -The solar power is intended mainly for the cooler, the lighting and charging phones. It has to be used with moderation. -At your disposal a barbecue, an outdoor table, and sun loungers. -Two beautiful swimming lakes are situated 10 km away. -I ask my guest to leave the house as clean as possible before departure. Other things to note Equidistant from two villages, the famous medieval Montcuq and Montaigu de Quercy (10km), the house is close to supermarkets, local markets and restaurants. You will also easily reach the Lot Valley to enjoy views on impressive cliffs and visit charming villages along the Lot river. Among them, Cahors and it's 14th century bridge (35km), and 25 km after, Saint-Cirq -Lapopie, one of the most beautiful villages in France, spectacularly perched on the top of a cliff.
