The lake can be easily accessed from the house and there are a couple of two-person canoes available for guests to use. Other things to note Guests will need to be organized regarding food and drinks. The nearest shop (via car) is in the small town of Nowa Nowa, 15km away. The nearest major shopping centres are in Lakes Entrance and Orbost - both about a half hours drive from the house. There is a great pub and take away at Lake Tyres Beach, which can be accessed via boat across the lake or by about an hours hike along the beach.
