Description
Set in a beautiful south facing valley, Ffynnon Dawel is a lovely old fashioned stone built semi detached cottage, with beamed fireplaces, stone floors and wooden ceilings. With shared access to 4 acres of gardens and woodland, and a stream running through adjoining bluebell woods where you can go for long walks. We live in the cottage next door, and are 10 mins walk to a friendly pub, an easy 3 miles to Cardigan riverside market town and less than 15 minutes drive to beautiful sandy beaches. The space Our place has been described as 'A little piece of paradise', and here you can feel the gentle tranquility of the Welsh countryside. It is perfect for young people to safely explore and play. There is a large kitchen and dining room downstairs, and a single and double bedroom, plus bathroom upstairs. The double bedroom connects to a comfortable guest sitting room with a sofa that can sleep one, or you can put a mattress on the floor. (We imagine this could be suitable for a young child). We are keen organic gardeners, and over the last 20 years have hosted friends and family, raised four children here, and shared many large meals and musical evenings in the kitchen. Guest access When you arrive you will park in our little carpark, which is a few minutes walk down a track and over a little footbridge to your cottage. Once you are here you have direct access into the large garden area at the front of the house, and to the footpath across the stream and through the woods which stretch for over a mile.
