A small house by the sea

A fisherman's house by the shore five minutes drive from the Cathedrals Beach. A traditional space restored with a passion for architecture and craftsmanship at the old whaling port of Rinlo. A quiet place where you can come to write, read, meditate, get creative or simply unwind and reconnect with nature. The space The open plant is organised in three levels connected by two flights of stairs with five steps each. We enter the house through the staircase landing, a double height space with a kitchenette, the old fireplace and the eating area. Down the middle of the house the sleeping area with a double bunk with a small bathroom upstairs and a cabin downstairs. Down the back the living area with a sofa bed and a big window with a view to the shore. We do not have TV nor a decent Wi-Fi connection instead we have plenty of books that you are invited to perusal, bikes and fishing rods. If you need to slow down and kick back this is the perfect destination for a digital detox surrounded by greenery and natural wonders. A unique space to enjoy the rustic charms of a simpler way of life. Guest access We enter the house through a quiet pedestrian street full of calla lilies and fragrant borders, protected from the northeaster wind. The narrow and elongated plant of the building copies the slope of the cliff yielding a breathtaking view of the pebble beach at the back of the house.
