Cosy cottage at the lake of Constance

Located 70 m to the lake and 200 m to the next beach, the Casa Calvin offers 90 sqm space, including a huge living room, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, an amazing garden and a fireplace. The cozy house is modernly equipped and very spacious. If needed (if you are more than 8 people) you can rent the adjacent granny- flat for additional 2 people on top with about 25 sqm. The house is ideal for couples or families, for business trips as well as for trips in a group or with pets. The space Casa Calvin is a cosy and lucid cottage with space to enjoy and relax. You can enjoy the sun on a spacious terrace with 60 qm, 250 qm lawn invite for sunbathing or allows the children to have some fun. From the terrace you can even see a small part of the Lake of Constance and Constance University at the opposite coast. On the ground floor with 90 qm there is a big living room and two bedrooms. An additional bedroom with 16 qm is in the basement. The house offers sleeps for up to 7 persons (9 persons if you book thegranny-flart on top) - however, you can also enjoy it as a couple of two (especially at low season we can offer you a very attractive price). Casa Calvin is located very close to the lake. You can go directly from the garden to the next beach, about 200 m away to refresh in the lake. THE CASA Living room: The living room is spacious and comfortable and is tastefully furnished. The living room has windows and a glass door to the terrace. LCD- TV with SAT receiver and DVD player are available. The ample dining corner offers seats for up to 6 persons (can be proplonged for up to 10 seats) and has a pass-through to the kitchen. Bedroom 1: The bedroom has a king-size bed from where you can directly watch the garden and the castle at the Isle of Mainau. Bedroom 2: There are two adjacent single beds in this bedroom. You can enter directly from the bedrooom the garden and the terrace. Bedroom 3: Bedroom 3 is in the basement with two single beds one of them in addition holds a rollaway bed so that overall there are three sleeps Bedroom 4: An adjoining granny apartment can be used if you are 7 or more people (otherwise it is empty). The large room features a double bed and also has a private bathroom. However, the ceiling height is only about 2m. Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, fan oven, microwave, dish washer, coffee maker, toaster and fridge with ice box. Bath: Bath with washing basin, WC and bath tub, where you can also take a shower. Guest bathroom: The Casa also offers a further small bathroom with washing basin and WC Basement: In the basement there is a washing room with washing machine. Terrace: The terrace faces south and has about 60 qm. The terrace is sheltered by the house so that you can sit on the terrace on warm days also in spring or autumn. Garden chairs and a table and two deck chairs are available. A parsol can give you shade. A barbecue can also be used. Garden: Adjacent to the terrace is the garden with a lawn of about 250 qm that invites for sunbathing or for playing. A small path leads you through the garden to the fence. Via the door in the fence you can directly go to the beach. Granny-flat: There is one spacious bed room with a king-size bed and a bath with washing basin, WC and shower tub. The ceiling height of the flat is about 2m only. The flat has a separate entrance to the garden. Enjoy some wonderful days in a luxurious holiday home at the Lake of Constance! Guest access The Guests have access to the whole accommodation, including the garage (and its tools), garden and the basement. Other things to note Facilities -Casa Calvin is furnished in a modern style and can accommodate from 2 to 9 people. -The floors are tiled with natural stone -Allergy friendly -Non-smoking house (smoking is possible on the terrace) -Kids friendly -Baby travel cot and high chair -Pets on request -3 car parking spaces -Bicycles can be stored in the garage -Four bicycles (three for adults and one for children) are included and can be used free of charge. -Bed linen and towels are included -Kitchen with stove, oven (with convection and grill), microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and refrigerator with freezer compartment -Flat screen TV with digital satellite reception -Some literature in German and English -Board games -Garden grill -WLAN free of charge (max. 50 MBit/s available) The entire house offers space for a total of 9 people. Of these, 7 beds are in the main apartment. If there are more than 7 people, a granny apartment, which is located in the house and has direct access to the garden, can be rented as well. The cost per night increases only for the increased number of people, but there are no additional costs for the ELW. We will also gladly explain more details on request! Winter dream: In winter, peace returns to Lake Constance. Hiking trails through the forest start very close to the house. Walks along the lake invite you to rest and contemplation. In the thermal baths of Meersburg, Überlingen or Constance you can relax by swimming, in the sauna or in the wellness areas. Important note on the local tourist tax ("Kurtaxe" in German): The local municipality Uhldingen-Mühlhofen charges a mandatory tax (called "Kurtaxe" in German) from every tourist who stays in any holiday apartment or hotel. Currently, the fee is 1.50€ per day and person for stays between November and March and 3.50€ between April and October. We are required by law to charge the tax from every guest. Our local gatekeeper will collect this fee on site after you arrive and transfer it to the municipality (it is not yet included in the Airbnb fee as we are not allowed to charge it in advance).
