Stylish Double Room

A spacious, double room iin a cozy family home. We are a friendly family who love meeting people from all backgrounds. The space This double room has a beautiful fire feature fire place. All guests have access to the kitchen and garden . You will access a shower room opposite the room. This will be shared with one other guest. You have a comfortable bed with a pillow top Matress. We have a south facing garden which ensures that sunlight floods the house on bright days. There is also fast reliable internet. I am friendly and helpful and will do what I can to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible . Guest access Kitchen Garden 1 downstairs shower room with toilet and basin. This is opposite your room . During your stay I am always on hand to talk and help with queries. I am pleasant and friendly. I work full time, so communication is key. I will deal with queries in the evening . I try my best to address your concerns if you have them. Other things to note A pleasant well presented space in a well managed house. The hostess will expect you to keep shared spaces, ( bathroom and kitchen) spotlessly clean after every use. You are welcome to share the well equipped kitchen. This is for light use. ( preparing quick meals , making tea/coffee, using the fridge for storing food , warming food using the microwave, you will be encouraged to use energy saving appliances and be neat and efficient with kitchen use. If you make all your meals from scratch using energy , you will be encouraged to batch cook. If you require heavier use of the kitchen please discuss this with the hostess before booking . These measures are in place due to high energy prices. There is a Tassimo hot drinks machine available. You can ask for a few pods to make a drink on arrival. You can order more at your convenience. Please ask the hostess if you need more. You will be able to dine in the kitchen as there is ample space. If you prefer to eat in your room, this is acceptable. You will need to be prepared to share the kitchen space with others and there is ample space . The house never feels overcrowded due to the layout. The hostess is very responsive and lives at the property to ensure that high standards are upheld. Heating will come on for a few hours every day during the week. This could be a combination of morning and evening. It will not be applied at night. During winter please expect to wear layers to keep warm . In extremely cold weather this will be extended. If you work from home, please discuss this with the hostess before booking so that reasonable compromises can be made if appropriate . You will be encouraged to be considerate with energy consumption/ water usage just as you would in your own home. , I.e turning lights off after use, switching appliances off when not in use etc.. There is a ventilation system that is placed in the room to prevent damp. It ensures that the room is well ventilated . It needs to be on every day. During winter , it may be a little cool ,so you can ventilate the room when you are out. If you work from home , this may not be the best choice during winter months as heating will not be kept on during the day.
