The Lake House at Metung

Welcome to our fresh, spacious and comfortable hamptons style house near Lake King. We are situated in beautiful Kings Cove, Metung, 10 minutes walk to Lake King, Kings Cove Golf Course and lots of walking tracks. The house has two living spaces in addition to an undercover alfresco great for entertaining. Set on an acre you have plenty of space to have fun outside. Located in a quiet residential area, this home and location is suited to families looking for a relaxing getaway. The space The Lake House is a beautifully furnished four bedroom property with two seperate living spaces (both with TV) and nice green views. The gourmet entertaining kitchen is perfect for cooking up a feast and serving on the ten person dining table or out to the al-fresco undercover seating area with BBQ. There is an outdoor seating and dining table next to the BBQ as well as a hammock for use. We are a very family friendly home and can provide the following items for your stay: high chair, travel cot with change table, baby bassinet, microwave steriliser, baby bath, plastic cups, spoons and plates. Two rain showers are in the bathroom as well as a clawfoot bath in the main bathroom. All linen is provided and some towels. Guest access You will have full access to the house (other than two cupboard areas containing personal items that have been manually locked) however the attached garage is locked. There is one acre of land you can use. Other things to note Peak period dates as follows: Melbourne Cup Weekend 3 night minimum Australia Day weekend 3 night minimum Labour Day long weekend 3 night minimum Easter long weekend 4 night minimum Anzac weekend 3 night’s minimum Queen’s Birthday weekend 3 nights minimum All other dates 2 night min stay applies Small/medium dogs are welcome however please note the property is on one acre and not fully fenced. There are walking tracks nearby. We welcome children and especially babies! Please let us know if you would like any amenities left to make your stay easier. We have some baby toys we can leave out as well as a sterilizer. Please advise us of any dietary requirements such as vegan as we know lots of great restaurants around that cater.
