Come and join us at Glenbervie Country Gardens. Once a café and wedding venue, our three-acre gardens blend old world charm with lush wilderness. Whangarei's subtropical microclimate and rich volcanic soil lend an overgrown, enchanted quality to our garden wilderness! The space Walnut Cabin is our smallest and most basic cabin, perfect for close couples and solo travellers who enjoy simplicity and nature. Previously set up with bunks, it has just had a makeover and refit for summer with a comfortable brand new double mattress on a vintage oak frame. The entire 14th edition of Encyclopaedia Britannica lines one wall, adding a contemplative touch to your stay by the walnut tree in our subtropical gardens. Our cabins are nestled in secluded nooks among hundreds of mature trees, close enough to shared facilities for convenience without sacrificing privacy. The comfortable bed overlooks this cabin's namesake walnut tree. Guest access Our cabins share access to two toilets and a shower located s fifty metres from the cabins next to our larger accommodation units. A hot outdoor shower is hidden in the dense bush just a few metres from the cabin, offering an invigorating way to freshen up surrounded by birdsong and tropical greenery. Each cabin comes equipped with its own outdoor food prep area under a covered porch, including cold water sink, fridge, camping stove, kettle, toaster, and microwave.
