Villa Asteras in Paros is newly built out of stone in Cycladic character and extends to one ground level. This bright picturesque villa with marble floors, wooden ceilings and art works is perfect for a summer getaway with friends or family. You will enjoy the privacy and serenity of the location and the sense of freedom that it grants. Villa Asteras in Paros is environment friendly, with minimum CO2 emissions (the cooling/heating system is powered by a heat pump) and surrounded by gardens and tree orchards treated with strictly ecological methods; pesticides and synthetic fertilizers have never been used! The villa is well furnished and tastefully decorated with an artistic and stylish mix of modern and antique pieces exhibiting the best of classic and contemporary Cycladic style. Designed and executed by a famous architect of the island and eminent citizen of Paros (Moraitis winery and the bridge of Naoussa are examples of his work), is exhibiting all the main features of the traditional Cycladic architecture. The thick stone-built external walls, the arch and the wooden ceilings, the roof extending on various levels and the internal window shutters are some of the typical characteristics of a traditional Cycladic manor. Presenting a clean-cut yet functional design, with comfortable spaces, allowing plenty of sunlight to enter and merging smoothly with the surroundings, the house was built by local artisans. Elegantly decorated, Villa Asteras in Paros features a stylish living area with large windows that allow plenty of sunshine and great sea views next to a fully equipped kitchen . There are two large bedrooms both with comfortable beds to relax after a long day at the beach. A guest studio, attached to the main house, with 2 single beds (which can be united and form a double bed) and its own bathroom and fridge can accommodate two more friends. The decoration provides a minimal yet pleasant interior which does not overwhelm the feeling of freedom and tranquility which the villa seeks to offer. Various antique and artistic pieces have been used in a discrete, harmonious manner. Outdoors there is a comfortable sitting area covered with pergola and two more patios where you can sit back and enjoy the sea view and the scents of aromatic herbs from the garden. As one of our guests put it: "I picked your house and suggested it to my group because it is simple but very elegant and stylish. It is very comfortable too...!
