Description
Stable Cottage is situated in a beautiful location in what is known as, “The Pearl of Scotland”. The cottage is over 200 years old and has been converted from an original stable used by the horses working on the Crinan Canal. It is in pristine condition having recently undergone extensive renovation. It is a perfect location for all outdoor activities and a perfect base for exploring this beautiful region of Scotland. One can’t help to be gripped by the beauty right on one’s doorstep. The space The cottage flows from one room to another, having been converted from a stable. This means that those using the sleeping sofa in the living room, need to pass through the bedroom to access the bathroom. Other things to note The sitting room has a multi-burner stove. Logs, peat or smokeless coal can all be purchased nearby. In addition to this I have just had *air to air heating installed with units both in the living area and bedroom. There is a heated towel rail in the bathroom. The stove heats the cottage very quickly and effectively indeed. There is a very large sliding door hanging cupboard and shelved area which has plenty of room to store suitcases, jackets, shoes, etc. Only 150 m away there is an excellent restaurant and bar. This property is also ideal for anybody who has mobility issues. There is off the road parking right beside the cottage and a secure handrail at the step leading into the cottage. Sitting in the large picture widow, one can get the feeling of being outside whilst looking at the world passing by. The cottage is surrounded by hillside which means that it is rarely windy, or particularly cold here, compared to other places quite close by which are more exposed to the elements. * November, 2021 Registration Details AR00341F
