Welcome to the Ozarks where the people are friendly and the sites are beautiful. There is something to do for everyone from 1 to 100. We are located 12 miles from Batesville, 28 miles from Mountain View and all the activities you could want. Bring your instruments and enjoy the pickin' parks, fishing, swimming, tons of fun at the community center, golf, tennis, basketball, walking tracks, music venues and dances with live music, hiking, canoeing, digging for diamonds, horseback riding, The space We have 14 acres 12 miles from Batesville, AR. Our property has on site parking for 2 vehicles,(please do not park in the yard area) security light at night and motion detection cameras facing the parking area for added security. Quiet upstairs apartment with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with walk- in shower, hairdryer, full length mirror, full size kitchen with all cooking utensils, Pots & pans, cooking oil, salt, pepper, italian seasoning all plates & eating utensils, coffee bar with a drip coffee maker as well as a Keurig & K-cups and coffee to start you out, the coffee bar has hotel style cream/sugar/spoon/napkin, pot holders, hot pads, cutting boards, crock pot, glasses and serving bowls. On the deck we have a propane grill, chairs and cigarette/cigar, etc. butt bucket. Sit on the deck with your morning coffee or your evening beverage and you just might see the deer, racoon, armadillo or opossum. Are you a race fan?? Batesville Motor Speedway is just 2 miles from our house to the racetrack. The racing season has started and we are ready to hear the engines ROAR. We truly hope you enjoy your stay here and feel free to help yourself to the treats we left for you. Welcome to the Garage Getaway. Guest access You will have access to the whole apartment, deck and yard. This is a safe environment with security lighting and we live next door if you should ever need anything. New furniture in the last year with additions of a port-a-crib, high chair, baby gate, monitor and a few toys & books for the little ones. The apartment has it's own hughesnet internet with wifi. Smart TV with netflix and many other free channels, games, books, coloring books, cards etc. for your enjoyment. Out in the back yard, we have a fire pit for those nights you want to spend a nice evening or gather around and cook up some s'mors for a tasty treat. We have skewers if you wish to use them. Just let us know and we will make them available to you. We do ask that you water down the fire before you leave it. There is a hose attached to the spicket in the back that you can use. We are in the process of putting up outside entry cameras for security as well as the yard light. Our door is always open so if you want to come over for a cup of coffee, or you play a guitar or other instrument and want to Jam, come on over. I'm always up for playing music with other musicians. Make yourself and home and enjoy our Garage Getaway. Other things to note We do not allow smoking/vaping or chewing tobacco in the apartment but, you are welcome to do this out on the deck. please do not throw any butts on the ground. A butt bucket is provided for your convenience. We do not allow pets. We strive to keep the apartment as free from allergens as possible for all our guests. However, service animals are always welcome.
