The space The Holtwood Preserve surrounds the 8 mile long lake, Lake Aldred, which is formed by two dams on the Susquehanna River. No new construction, keeps the woods protected. The Conestoga R & Pequea are tributaries, perfect for kayaking/tubing. Public boat launch in Pequea, free, has a handicap fishing dock 1/4 mile north of property. We have a large overflow parking area, perfect for storage of trailers & extra guest parking. We are surrounded by 39 miles of hiking trails & expanding biking trails. Lancaster City is a 25 minute drive with restaurants, shopping, activities lots to do & see. Guest access Townhouse/ duplex with private entrance, deck with grill & table.
