The ultimate romantic hideaway, Hawthorne Cottage is located in a very quiet and safe enclave tucked back from the street in Cheyenne Canyon. This newly renovated and super clean unit is uniquely decorated with a contemporary cottage, organic vibe. A kiva fireplace provides the centerpiece of the inviting space, which also features radiant heated floors, a fully-stocked modern kitchen with a gas range and quartz countertops. Enjoy high quality linens in the cozy bedroom and luxurious towels in the beautiful bath, all equipped with radiant-heated floors. The cottage is located directly across the street from a main trailhead, leading to hundreds of miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. The world-renowned Broadmoor Hotel is within a ten minute walk. Sacred Grounds Cafe, open for breakfast and lunch daily, is also open for dinner with live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays. Cheyenne Canyon is home to abundant wildlife, including deer, bear, raccoons, squirrels, a multitude of bird species and an occasional mountain lion (they stay clear of us!). As you'll read in the reviews, you will see many of these species on a daily basis right from the living room windows of the cottage! Hawthorne Cottage has it's own private outdoor living space with a chaise, table and chairs and a grill. It is located next door to the charming Bella Cottage (see #501024 for reviews). The cottage has it's own entrance, patio area and off-street parking area. We are "on-property" owners. We clean our cottages with the absolute highest level of care and cleanliness.
