It is a few blocks away from the Juan Luna Shrine & Museum, Basilica Minore of St. John the Baptist & Shrine of La Virgen Milagrosa de Badoc, town plaza & market. The beautiful, pristine Badoc Island can be reached by a 10-minute boat ride from the mainland. It is ideal as a home base when visiting Vigan and Laoag to Pagudpud to experience the "feel and taste" of Ilocos! The space The Southside Room is in the Guadalupe Guesthouse which is a new addition to the Salva Heritage House to accommodate family, friends and visitors. The building is adorned with Talavera tiles and accessories, the centerpiece of which is a mosaic of Our Lady of Guadalupe at the entrance. The Guadalupe Guesthouse is dedicated to our parents, the late Gregorio and Generosa Salva. The property is surrounded by a spacious and beautiful garden, with appointments and plants personally chosen by Mom, making it a good venue for special events and occasions. Guest access The central location of the property in the Badoc Poblacion is very ideal and affords our guests easy access to everything - it is a stone's throw away from the Luna Museum, Basilica Minore, town plaza, municipal hall, public market and Uncle Mino's authentic Italian Pizza. It is a few minutes drive to the shore and one should never miss the trip to Badoc Island! Public transportation abound in the area - tricycles, public buses that ply the route of Vigan-Laoag, luxury buses that will bring you to/from Manila. Rental vehicles of any kind are available. Other things to note Please note that the official postal address of Guadalupe Guesthouse & Salva Heritage House is 048 Salva Street, Badoc, Ilocos Norte. However, in the internet, Salva Street is labeled as Campos Street.
