Description

Central Bruxelles location, we are located about 2.5kms from the Grand Place and Gare Central, which are in Central Bruxelles. Our apartment is a self-contained with 2-bedrooms (3 beds inc. sofa bed), 1 bathroom, 1 separate toilet and 71m2, APT, in the heart of Brussels’ European District. The space A self-serviced apartment equipped for self-catering. We provide a homely type apartment with toiletries, tea, coffee, sugar, dish washer tablets, kitchen roll & the all-essential Wi-fi. Do remember our apartment is not all inclusive. We are located on the 4th floor. Our lift takes you up to the apartment floor. When you exit the lift, look straight across and you’ll see out apartment front door. There is a secure walkway (width approx. 75-80 cms) for you to walk across from the lift to the apartment front door. There are seven (7) steps to walk down from the start of the walkway at the lift to the apartment. You can see the walkway in our listing photos. **Please bear this in mind if you have a disability, are elderly, reduced mobility, wheelchairs, prams, babies, young children or lots of luggage. Our walkway may not be suitable.** If you have any accessibility needs or concerns, please reach out to us before booking. We’re happy to provide additional details to ensure the access is suitable for you. Our apartment is well equipped for self catering. We provide freshly laundered and ironed bed linens, towels, a tea towel, toiletries, tea, coffee, sugar, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, and reliable high speed Wi Fi. Please note that the apartment is not all inclusive. Entertainment in the apartment features a widescreen TV with access to streaming services only. This setup is ideal for people who wish to log into their own platforms such as Netflix, Disney+ or Amazon Prime Video. Our Apartment: The apartment provides essential items to ensure you have a hassle-free start to your stay. Do remember this is a self-catering apartment. Some items may need replacing by you during your stay. Our apartment is very popular and used all the time. This results in ordinary wear and tear. Ordinary wear and tear is the natural and gradual deterioration of the apartment over time. This is usual for most if not all apartments. There will be ordinary wear and tear in our apartment. Hence we renovate every 3 years. Examples of ordinary wear and tear in our apartment: small areas of paint on the walls wears away in the normal course of living and or has scuff marks or damage caused by people’s suitcases. If deterioration is serious (accidental damage) we repair this immediately For Your Stay: We provide laundered & ironed linens, bath towels, tea towel, bath matt, kitchen cloth for your stay. If you require us to provide clean sets during your stay we can. Please ask for details (fees & info) before booking. We’ll be delighted to clarify. For Your Stay: We provide tea, coffee, coffee machine filters, sugar, salt, pepper, washing up liquid, dish washer tablets, body wash, shampoo & hand wash, and most importantly great ‘free’ wifi for use throughout your stay. Our Body, Hand Wash & Shampoo: We provide shared bottles of body wash, hand wash, and shampoo to make your stay feel relaxed and home‑from‑home. If anything runs out during your stay, just let us know. We understand that some guests prefer to use their own products for brand or hygiene reasons, so if that’s your preference, please remember to pack your toiletries Essential Arrival Supplies: We also provide ‘Essential Arrival Supplies’ such as toilet, kitchen towel papers & bin bags. If these items require replenishment during your stay you will need to replace them. If they do not run out during your stay you do not need to replace them. We will replace the used ones after your stay. Housekeeping Cleaning Service: We are able to provide a housekeeping cleaning service during your stay. The services is generally done during the day between 10h00–16h00). The charge for this service is 90€. If you require this do contact us for further details. Cleaning Equipment & Products: We provide a vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket, dust pan and brush. They are in the living wardrobe as go through to the bathroom and bedroom area. We do not provide cleaning products. We do not provide cleaning products. The apartment is not all inclusive. Our Laundry Room – Washer & Dryer Machines: You’re welcome to use the shared washer and dryer in the basement. The lift doesn’t go to that level, so access is via one flight of stairs. Machines are first‑come, first‑served and free to use. Please bring your own detergent. If you have any accessibility needs or concerns, please reach out to us before booking. Our Apartment – General Info: The dimensions are, inside – 71m2 (730sq feet). The apartment is maintained by our Housekeeper & Co-ordinator extraordinaire, who prepares it immediately after the guests check out and it’s therefore available 24/7. We use a safe key system for storing the apartment keys, which means you have no hassle access regardless of your time of arrival. We provide a short video (link) after booking, which shows ‘How This Works’. We are available 24/7 if you have any urgent needs, which you must address immediately. We provide full mobile, email and contact details once you’ve booked the apartment. We’re always looking forward to hosting great people. Email us if you require additional information or have budget challenges, which need support. Guest access The apartment located in Central Bruxelles minutes from the EU, is on the 4th floor. Access once inside our building complex is through a private front door, which leads you directly through the ground floor hallway to the building lift. We have lights in the hallways so for those arriving after dark. Access is straightforward and safe (Please watch our video. Our Welcome Pack email has a link to this video). The lift will take you to the 4th floor where your apartment is located. When you leave the lift, look straight across and you’ll see the apartment front door. There is a secure walkway (width approx. 75-80 cms) and you have to descend a small stairs with about 7 steps from the lift to the apartment front door. **Please bear this in mind if you have a mobility difficulty, disability, wheelchairs, prams, babies, young children or lots of luggage.** There are lights and switches by the lift and outside the from door for late night arrivals. Once inside access to all rooms is on the same level. It is very easy to move around when you are inside the apartment. Access to the apartment is obtained through a set of keys, which are stored in a key safe close to the building front door and easily accessible for guests. Details for these are provided once the booking is confirmed and well in advance of your visit. Other things to note Apartment Key & Key Safe: We provide one (1) apartment front‑door key for your use during your stay. You have unlimited and exclusive use of the Key Safe throughout your stay. If members of your group need to access the apartment at different times, we recommend placing the key in the Key Safe to make this easy. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide more than one key. When you are inside the apartment, please do not leave the key inserted on the inside of the front‑door lock (barrel). Guests sometimes step outside, close the door, and unintentionally lock themselves out. In such cases, a locksmith must be called, and you will be responsible for covering all locksmith costs. Our Radiator Heating System: Our apartment uses a conventional (regular/heat‑only) hot‑water radiator system. A boiler heats water, which is then pumped through steel panel convector radiators. These radiators warm the air through convection, and the room temperature increases when you turn the radiator on. The outside temperature influences how quickly the rooms heat up. We turn the heating off when the apartment is unoccupied to avoid unnecessary energy waste, as homes continuously lose heat through walls, windows, and roofs. So the radiators will be turned off when you arrive. The central heating system is very efficient and typically warms the apartment within 15–30 minutes. Who Our Apartment Suits: The apartment is available for short, medium or long-term letting and ideally suits business people, visitors, small groups or families with young babies or children on holiday. You can book for short, medium and long term rental periods. We really don’t mind. If this apartment is not available just click on that picture of me as we do have other apartments, equally as good, which may be available. This apartment is not available for parties or gathering during your stay, please do not book it if this is your requirement. If you do have a requirement for a family gathering do please discuss.
