Welcome to DESA SANCTUARY RETREAT CENTER! We offer both personal stays, and now also the capacity for groups, team buildings, startups or families who want to travel together! We can host up to 16 onsite with additional capacity next door if your group is up to 24. We are not a new listing. We have been on Airbnb since 2012 and had 93 reviews with a 4.5 Star rating. We had to make a new listing page and were not allowed to bring our reviews along with us. We will highlight some of them below. The space Desa Sanctuary, The Village offers unique accommodations in original antique wooden homes that have been lovingly restored offering all the modern comforts...ideal for those coming on retreat to Ubud, the cultural center of Bali. Designed and created by Hollywood designer, David Seligman. We have now enhanced this beautiful setting with newly enclosed rooms with air conditioning and a Yoga Shala and a community area for dining and chilling. Joglo Saraswati Dua, considered our Honeymoon Sweet, has now been redesigned to feature beautiful new appointments, fully enclosed and air conditioned. It is on the second floor and enjoys a garden view and pool view. The Village features a beautiful pool and WIFI is available everywhere in our Village, so you can be online having a sunset drink by the pool, or reclining in your bed. Desa Sanctuary is handily placed only 1.4 km (less than 1 mile) from the heart of Ubud's dining/shopping area, though there are many shops and cafes even closer. We are also on the same road as Yoga Barn, a great spot for yoga, meditation, cleaning and healing classes. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of their villa and the communal space, including the Yoga Shala, the kitchen at Lumbung and the swimming pool area and gardens. As a group or retreat you will have access to the entire property. Other things to note Please note that you have booked a property with a STRICT cancellation policy.
