Sandaig b&b is located on the shores of Loch Nevis in southwestern Knoydart.We are probably one of the most remote b&b's Scotland's. There is NO CAR ACCESS from the Mainland or SKYE. It will take you about 1 hour 30 min. walk from Inverie Pier. The room is on a bed and breakfast basis, evening meals and transfers can be arranged for a extra charge.Please not:Knoydart is just accessible by passenger ferry (Western Isles Cruises) from Mallaig or walk from Kinloch Hourn / Strathan or Glenfinnan. The space Our large room has a fabulous Sandaig beach and bay view. Other things to note Our Philosophy We want to do everything we can to help preserve Knoydart, often referred to as Scotland's last wilderness. We believe in running Sandaig B&B in an as environmentally friendly way as possible, using our own electricity and natural water supply. We are also really keen to minimize the use of motor vehicles. Why not experience nature to the maximum by walking the 1 hour and 30 minutes from the ferry in Inverie? Just keep your luggage light! We also offer all essentials like wellies, slippers, umbrellas, dog supplies and much more. In addition, we also run a small shop where you are able to buy souvenirs, home made crafts, snacks, lunch packages and non alcoholic drinks.
