History@Renall is a large 1900 villa fully restored to its former glory with modern kitchen and bathroom facilities set on a large section with a beautiful garden. Our house -situated in one of Masterton's most prestiges streets- is less than 1 km from both the town centre and the Renall Street railway station. History@Renall has 6 bedrooms of which 2 spacious bedrooms and 1 self-contained studio have been made available for our guests. The space History@Renall was built in early 1900 for one of the founders and majors of Masterton. It was the first house in Masterton that was connected to the electricity network and served later in that century as a private maturnity hospital. The house stands in the middle of a large landscaped garden with several shade providing seatings under matured trees. Guest access Guests have access to all parts of the garden. Breakfast will be served in the large kitchen between 07:30am and 09:00am,. On requests. the laundry area will be made available for any laubdry washing. The self-contained studio has its own living space, kitchen and bathroom. During your stay We are both professional people and love the interaction with guests visiting our beautiful town. We both come from different parts of the world (Europe and Asia) and have lived and worked in many overseas countries. We usually sit down on the terras around 05:00pm for a glass of wine and a chat. You are more than welcome to join us but there is no obligation - we will always respect your privacy. Other things to note Masterton has a lot to offer for families such as pedal boats, a mini train, excellent kids' playground, mini golf, bike hire, a deer park and plenty of walking tracks and bike trails.
