Ballymacashen Cottage is a 19th century traditional Irish cottage set in a rural setting in the heart of County Down. Relax and enjoy this cosy cottage, with a wood burning stove and quiet surroundings, or enjoy a variety of outdoor activities on offer in the area. We are spoilt with local pubs and restaurants in the nearby villages of Balloo and Lisbane, but the cottage is also only 13miles from Belfast City Centre. The cottage has 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom, a kitchen and living room. The space Aside from a passing tractor or occasional cow mooing from the neighbouring farm, guests can enjoy true peace, quiet and tranquillity at Ballymacashen Cottage. Behind the cottage is a green space, with a bench, table and chairs to sit out and take in the surroundings. Listen to the chirping and tweeting birds, say hello to our hens or occupants of our field, or at night time, look up and take in the clear night sky! Other things to note This cottage has one bedroom. The beds can be set up as 2 singles, or one double, depending on your requirements.
