Lake District Holiday Lodge with views of Skiddaw

Forest View Lodge is situated on a quiet site, which is located right on the Lake District National Park border, making it an excellent base for exploring the Lakes . The site has no amenities, however there is a garden centre tea room next door and a pub in the next village. Cockermouth is 10 minutes, Keswick 25 mins. The lodge sleeps 4 in two double bedrooms, both en-suite. There is a fully-equipped modern kitchen, and the decking is perfect for relaxing with a drink after a day exploring. The space We are happy to accept up to 2 well-behaved dogs. The lodge is spacious and furnished and equipped to a very high standard. There is a digital TV with Freeview, DVD player and a selection of books, maps and board games in case the weather turns bad. THERE IS NO WiFi. There are lovely local walks in the neighbouring villages and beaches, or why not walk to the summit of nearby Binsey to watch the sun set with views as far as Scotland and the Isle of Man? Skiddaw is only 15 minutes away, and nearby Buttermere, Loweswater and Ennerdale present almost endless possibilities for both low and high level walking. Whether you choose to adventure or just relax, we're sure you'll enjoy chilling out back at the Lodge with its wonderful views of Skiddaw. Please note that due to the excellent road links there can be some low level road noise at peak times.
