This newly renovated accommodation still retains the character unique to an old house. Of course, the interior and bathrooms have been carefully renovated to ensure a comfortable stay. Stroll through the morning market in the morning, wander around the port town in the afternoon, and unwind at a public bath or izakaya in the evening. The space - Important notice Our house is a residential building with neighbors.It is unsuitable for noisy people who like to drink at once. If you are interested, please consider using other facilities. This listing is located in Katsuura City, Chiba Prefecture.Please be careful not to mistake it for Katsuura City, Wakayama Prefecture. - Our office hours are 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Japan time.Please note that any after-hours inquiries will take time to respond. - Heavy rain and strong winds Because it is an old building, if there is a strong wind, the building may sway or the windows rattling (especially in the bedroom on the second floor). Also, if it rains heavily, rain may come in through the gap in the wooden frame window. In that case, please close the door (it is also old, so it is difficult to close). The rain may fall between the forcibly connected kitchen and bathroom. In that case, please use the bucket as we provide a bucket. - Privacy The windows on the second floor are frosted, but there are no shoji or curtains. It can be used for free. - About garbage There are separate trash cans in the building.Help us sort the trash.In particular, the smell of raw garbage is strong, so please double the plastic bag.You are welcome to leave the garbage as it is.We'll dispose of it. - About smoking Smoking is completely prohibited in the building. Ashtrays are installed on the balcony, so please smoke there. Please never throw away cigarette butts on the road, etc. Please note that night conversations in smoking areas will echo in the neighborhood. - Child cost It is free if you are under elementary school age and you want to sleep together.In that case, please enter it as an infant (if you use a futon instead of sleeping together, it is the same price as an adult). - Penalty provisions for unauthorized and disruptive stays We use security cameras to check the number of guests. Guest access There is no shared space with other guests as it is a private rental facility. Other things to note House Manual: After check-in, please check the house manual provided in the room. Check in: Check in time is from 15:00 to 21:00. The area around our facility is a very quiet residential neighborhood. Please refrain from checking in after 9 pm as much as possible, as it may cause inconvenience to those living nearby. If you have no choice but to arrive after 9 pm, please contact the host in advance. Check-out: Checkout is by 10:00. The cleaning staff will check you in after 10:00. If you check out after the check-out time without prior consultation, we may charge an additional fee of 2,000 yen per 15 minutes, as this will interfere with the cleaning work. About smoking: Absolutely no smoking inside, including e-cigarettes. If you smoke, please use the designated outdoor smoking area. Please refrain from smoking near the entrance. Also, if you smoke outside after 9 pm, please be quiet out of consideration for our neighbors. For guests staying for consecutive nights: We do not clean the room during your stay. If you would like us to collect your garbage, we can accommodate you, so please consult with the host. About noise: The facility is located in a quiet residential area. After 9 pm, please refrain from activities that disturb the neighbors, such as loud voices, music, and parties, both indoors and outdoors. If we receive complaints or reports from neighbors due to excessive noise, etc., we may ask you to leave, even during your stay. Please be sure to follow the rules during your stay. About security cameras: Security cameras are installed at the entrance and in the hallways to comply with government guidelines and to monitor security and the number of guests. There are no cameras recording the indoor living space. About guest information and identity verification: In accordance with laws and regulations and guidance from the government, we require all guests to register their information for the creation of a guest list and for identity verification. After booking, we will send you a link to an external dedicated site for registering guest information through Airbnb messages. We use an external site separate from Airbnb, but it is for registering guest information and verifying your identity, and not for making reservations or paying for your stay on the external site. Please register the necessary guest information, such as name and address, for all guests who will be staying. We also ask you to present and register your ID for identity verification purposes. In accordance with the law, foreign nationals who do not have an address in Japan are required to register their nationality and passport number in addition to their name, address, etc., and to present their passport and submit a copy of it. The information you provide will be handled to the extent necessary for the proper operation of the property, such as creating a guest list, verifying your identity, and responding to requests from legal and government agencies. If you do not cooperate with the registration of the necessary guest information and the identity verification process, you will not be able to stay with us. Please make a reservation after acknowledging the above. About the check-in process: There is no janitor on duty at this facility, and it operates on a self check-in basis. Please take the front door key from the key safe to use it. We will give you the key box unlock code after you register your guest information and complete the necessary identity verification process. Other rules: Please be sure to also respect the following rules. If there are rule violations or damage to the property, we may charge additional fees depending on the circumstances. 1. If the room is soiled to a degree that significantly exceeds normal use during a stay, we may charge an additional cleaning fee. 2. If we find that furniture, appliances, equipment, or other items are missing or damaged, we may charge you for the repair or replacement costs. 3. If we confirm that the number of people staying exceeds the number of people disclosed at the time of booking, we will charge an additional fee of 20,000 yen per undeclared guest. The number of guests may be confirmed by security cameras near the entrance. 4. Please sort your trash according to the instructions in the room. 5. No smoking inside the house, including e-cigarettes. If we find evidence of smoking in the room, we may charge you for the actual costs incurred for deodorization, cleaning, restoration, etc. 6. If you wish for your forgotten items to be shipped, they will be shipped as pay on delivery. In addition, we will charge 3,000 yen for packaging and shipping fees. 7. Large garbage such as suitcases cannot be disposed of at the property. If you leave it in the property and check out, we may charge you 10,000 yen for disposal costs. 8. As a general rule, early check-in and late check-out are not allowed. If the room is ready earlier than planned on your check-in day, we will contact you to let you know. 9. We do not offer refunds, discounts, or cancellations based solely on subjective perceptions or reports of odors, dirt, mold, noise, or other issues. If you notice any issues during your stay, please contact the host promptly through Airbnb messages after confirming them. We may ask you to provide photos or videos of the relevant areas to check the situation. Regarding the issues you reported, we will conduct on-site inspections, cleaning, repairs, and other possible measures as needed. If it is confirmed that there are actual issues with the cleanliness, safety, or amenities of the property, and if these issues are covered by Airbnb's refund policy for stays, we will handle the matter in accordance with Airbnb's guidelines. In addition, as a general rule, we do not offer refunds or discounts solely due to the impact of external factors beyond our control, such as noise from nearby construction, noise from neighbors' daily lives, temporary outdoor odors, weather, or other external environmental conditions. However, if you are eligible for a refund, cancellation, etc. under Airbnb's policies, we will follow those policies. 10. Please be sure to register your guest information and complete your identity verification before check-in. We use an external site other than Airbnb to register guest information. We also ask you to present and register your ID for verification purposes. If the necessary procedures have not been completed, we will not be able to give you the code to unlock the key box, and you will not be able to stay. 11.
