Description
Our home is located alongside Ffawyddog Common and overlooks the Black Mountains including Sugar Loaf and Table Mountain. The guest suite looks out onto a private and quiet garden. We hope our welcome will make up for the occasionally muddy lane. The space Guests will be accommodated in a cosy bedroom with a private shower room and toilet. Guests will also have access to a small study and lounge with wood burning stove. There is a king size bed which can be made up as two singles on request. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided. A TV is provided in the guest bedroom. We have no garage here but have a locked shed in which push bikes can be stored. We also have a small drying room for damp waterproofs and boots. Guest access Crickhowell is located in the heart of the Black Mountains and is a very popular holiday destination for walkers and cyclists. Crickhowell is a thriving small town with a variety of small independent shops and pubs including the 'Bear'. There are also a number of excellent restaurants in the area including the 'Hardwick', 'Walnut Tree' and '1861'. Our home is situated in the small hamlet of Ffawyddog which is around 1.5 miles from Crickhowell. During your stay On arrival guests will be greeted with a cup of tea or coffee and home made Welsh cakes. Freshly prepared breakfast will be provided in the family kitchen. Stephen is a mountain walk leader who can help with planning your walking routes. Other things to note We have one very friendly cocker spaniel called Flora who lives with us in the family room.
