Welcome to the Lake House! 5 bedrooms. Access to a mooring. Full bathroom and kitchen with accessories. Bedrooms have locked doors & Wi-Fi. The house has a Deck and Docks, 8 foot by 10 foot floating Island, BBQ Grill. Lakeside Bon Fire Pit. Full bath, 30 feet from Lake! 2 entrances, 3 Kayaks, Fishing/Swimming. Nice neighbors including Camp Manitou, Matoaka and Somerset. Near Public Boat Landing & country store. I reside nearby, and will help with any issues. My house is 30 feet from the shore of East Lake. Swimming, boating, fishing ice skating, walking are some of the great activities that happen at the lake house. The first and second floors are air conditioned. The house has a large driveway and is surrounded by a forest that is owned by Camp Manitou. The Master Bedroom has a queen size bed, large desk, air conditioner and Ruko tv. It also has an adjacent daylight room with 3 windows and a futon. The second bedroom has full bed and a daylight room with a futon, air conditioner and Apple TV. The third bedroom has a full size bed and twin bed. This bedroom has 2 windows that overlook the lake. The fourth bedroom has a twin bed and window that overlooks the lake. The 5th bedroom is located on the ground floor and has a full size bed, desk, ethernet cable, one window and is fully air conditioned. This bedroom is across from the bathroom and near the house entrance. Guest are free to access the grounds of this property and of our neighboring property, The grounds boast 3 picnic tables. The 2 accessible grounds include 2 docks and over 100+ feet of shore frontage, boat mooring, and 2 large driveways. My neighbor also have a 1 room cabin on the main road. A great place for kids. This separate cabin has 3 bunks and is rented separately: additionally 3 kayaks are available of various ages. The main house is located 1/3 of a mile from the main road, route 137 and about 1/2 a mile from D&L Country Store. The area camp roads make for a nice walk and the neighbors are friendly. I will be available for my guest. Guest will have access to my phone number and email address and can instant message me. If I am available, I will give a guest a ride to the bus station or market. My mother has a lake-house next door to my lake-house. Her dock, picnic table and beach can also be used by my guest. The neighbors are friendly and can be helpful. Not many neighbors during the Winter. Much of the surrounding property/forest is owned by Camp Manitou for boy. This is a premier and exclusive Summer Camp for boys. Camp Matoaka for girls and Camp Somerset for girls are also on the lake. Please do not drive or walk through the Camp Manitou rear entrance, Maroon Gate. All camp roads are good to walk on except the Maroon gated Camp Manitou Cove road. The city of Waterville is only 7 miles away. Main Street Oakland is only 4 miles away. The town Library is 4.5 miles away on Church Street. Colby College and Thomas College is 15 minutes away and Kennebec Valley Community College is 20 minutes away. The State Capitol Augusta is located 35 minutes away. Portland is 1.5 hours away. Sugarloaf and the Western Maine Mountains are about 1 hour away. The Atlamtic Ocean is about 1 hour away. We do have Taxi's. Waterville has public busing.
