Swiss Alpine Chalet | Indoor Pool & Sauna | Sleeps 9

Our detached traditional wooden chalet is located in the small mountain resort village of Moleson. It is one of the few chalets in the village parking on the same level as the chalet and no steep steps. The chalet sleeps up to 9 people in 5 bedrooms. There is a private heated 10m indoor pool and large sauna which is for the sole use of the chalet occupants. Chalet La Taupiniere is an ideal base for skiing and snow sports in winter, or exploring/walking/relaxing in summer. The space An indoor pool (9.15m x 3.5m) and sauna makes a great way to relax after a long day on the slopes in winter, or from hiking in the mountains in summer. The open fireplace and large sofas makes a cosy place to read a book, play games or chat. There is a large corner sofa and a three-seater sofa. The kitchen, although small, is very well equipped, with a dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, oven, induction hob, kettle, toaster, fondue & raclette sets, cafetiere/French coffee press, tea-pots, food mixer, salad bowls, saucepans, lots of crockery & cutlery, knives & utensils, serving dishes etc etc. On this floor is also a single bedroom with a window to the front garden & driveway. This room also had a wash basin, a wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is an adjacent WC. On the lower floor, are three bedrooms (two double and one twin), a WC, and a bathroom with twin wash-basins, and a generous bath with rain shower over. The swimming pool is accessed from one of the bedrooms, or from outside. As well as the pool (which is kept at about 28c all year round), there is a large shower in the pool hall, and chairs and loungers to relax. Walk through the pump room to the spacious sauna. With its own entrance from the front garden/driveway is the annex bedroom, which is a lovely double room with en-suite shower room. We try and be environmentally friendly and the house is powered by 5.2kw PV solar panels and the pool is heated using an air source heat pump. We have bamboo/cotton towels as well. Guest access Guests have use of the whole chalet. Other things to note As this is a self-catering house, and we live in the UK, we are unable to offer a welcome pack. However, there will be two toilet rolls for each WC, cleaning products/cloths in the kitchen and bathrooms, tea towels in the kitchen, liquid soaps by all the washbasins, and in winter, some logs for the fire. The kitchen will also usually have tea, coffee, sugar as well as some oils and/or spices, although it's not guaranteed. We also have a new cleaning team as of August 2019 which has made the chalet much better too.
