Gone to the Beach - lovely seafront flat
Gone to the Beach - lovely seafront flat
Description
‘Gone to the Beach’ offers a cosy comfortable space in a converted Edwardian villa right on the seafront. The interior is cleanly styled - simple and modern but with everything you need for an enjoyable stay in the delightful town of Seaford. We have furnished the apartment with care and attention to detail. The lighting is attractive and versatile - no glaring overhead lights or uncomfortable sofas here. We’re told we’ve created the perfect blend of seafront comfort and style. The space Watch the waves crashing on the shore from the comfort of our cosy sitting room. The raised ground floor bay window provides unparalleled view from Seaford Head in one direction to the Newhaven lighthouse in the other. And the sunsets are incredible all year round. There are two good sized bedrooms, both with kingsize beds. (In one of the rooms the beds can be made up as twins if your prefer) We have wool duvets and rugs and extra blankets for snuggling up on the sofa. The bathroom and kitchen are new and attractive. The kitchen is fully equipped - open plan with the living area. We have a full size fridge and freezer so meal prep is easy. We have a bath, not that common in Airbnb rentals, and lovely for a warm soak at the end of a day’s walking. It goes without saying that summer is a wonderful time to visit the beach but winters here have a lot of charm too. The apartment is perfectly placed for walking the Cuckmere Valley and the Seven Sisters in one direction, and Tidemills in the other. Seaford is a bit of a hidden gem. There’s a thriving art scene, a lovely golf course, and lots of independent restaurants and cafes. Within easy walking distance there is a butcher, greengrocer and baker as well as 3 supermarkets so it’s not difficult to fill up that fridge. The flat is owned by 3 siblings who grew up in Seaford and who still visit often so we are very happy to give recommendations in addition to those in the guidebook. We often hear from visitors that coming to Seaford is like stepping back in time. It’s very popular with families all year round. We love it here and hope you will too.
