Charming French Gite The Cottage

Gîte 1, The Cottage, sleeps 4 people. The gite has 1 double bed in the main bedroom and 2 singles in the second bedroom. The gîte is fully furnished and has all modern fixtures and fittings. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooker and oven and all the pans and utensils Poitou-Charente has so much to offer the visitor with so much to see and do and enjoy. Just bring yourself and your suitcase. We provide a pack of extra cleaning supplies so you can clean and sanitize as you stay. The space The Gîtes at Le Bois de l'Eglise are contained within a tastefully renovated typical Charentais farmhouse complex. Gîte 1 The Cottage" is contemporarily furnished two bedroomed cottage which can comfortably accommodate 4 people. We have a boule court in our garden for guests to use. Other things to note We have a no pets and no smoking policy. Duvets, bed-linen and house towels per person are provided, but guests are requested to bring their own pool/beach towels. The gîtes are cleaned and fresh bed-linen and towels renewed before each occupancy. For longer stays, bed linen and towels are changed weekly. There is a wood burner in the open plan lounge and electric wall heaters in the bedrooms. We have Fibre installed so we have a fast and reliable WiFi service. We also have Orange TV which provides up to streaming services of French TV channels. For any rainy days we have board games and books available. Complementary coffee, tea, Nespresso capsules and sugar are provided free of charge. For your safety a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher, fire blanket and first aid kit are in each gîte. There are some low beams and quirky doors in the properties which guests need to be aware of and these will be pointed out on arrival. The property is situated on a quiet lane with very little passing traffic. The main garden is on the opposite side of lane where barbecue/eating/lounging areas have been laid out.
