Ground floor spacious self-contained space

“It's actually like a small flat inside the main house, with ensuite" - is how one happy guest described our ground floor space with its own kitchenette area, separate from the rest of our house - shared entrance only. We live in a quiet, residential area, close to shops and pubs, with free street parking. There are excellent transport links into London (30-40 mins journey) and Heathrow. We are 20 minutes walk to Twickenham Rugby stadium and Kew Gardens is a short bus/train ride away. The space Our ground floor Airbnb room is set aside from the main house, giving our guests a private retreat. The comfortable double bed is one end of the room with a dining table and chairs the other - perfect as a dedicated work space or for relaxing in this bright and welcoming room. There is excellent wifi as well as a Smart TV. The spacious shower room is next door. Guests have limited cooking facilities in their own separate small kitchenette area with fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Cutlery, crockery and glasses are provided along with tea and coffee. There is no access to the rest of the house, however guests have use of the washing machine on request in the downstairs utility room. Please note there is no dryer but an airer is provided so guests can dry their clothes in the room. We do ask guests staying for less than a week to let us know as soon as possible when they wish to use the washing maching . This is a non-smoking house but guests can smoke in the front garden. Please ask for an ashtray. Guest access There is free street parking outside our house. As well as excellent transport links into central London and Heathrow Airport, Gatwick airport is only an hour away by train. Both the M4 and M3 are just 15 minutes drive from our house. During your stay We are more than happy to provide information on local places to visit as well as local pubs and restaurants. We are equally happy to leave our guests to enjoy the comforts of our home in peace and quiet! I speak a little French and Spanish but am not fluent in either. Other things to note We are a friendly working household and hope our guests enjoy their stay with us. Please note my husband leaves the house for work at 6am in the morning - week days only. Please also note our daughter and her young family including their friendly and lively Labrador dog Lily do visit us often and stay over sometimes. When booking your flights please note we are about two hours and 15 mins by public transport from London Stansted airport which is located the other side of London. Luton airport is about two hours by train/coach. The nearest airports to us are Heathrow about 35-45 minutes or so by underground and a short walk/bus ride and Gatwick airport, which is about an hour by public transport depending on train connections) or 45 mins by car depending on the traffic. Please be aware there are two other Woodland Gardens in Greater London so make sure you put in the correct post code when planning your journey to us in Isleworth.
