The Bale Daja is a standalone unit part of Canang Sari Homestay, set in a Balinese house with beautifully crafted traditional design. The unit has a private bathroom, kitchen and toilet, the veranda offers view of lush tropical Balinese gardens. Free breakfast supplies like cereals, milk, noodles, and eggs provided for the first morning. During the stay join our Walking Tour, Textile Tour, Wellness Class, or Cooking Class. The space Our house is right in the heart of Denpasar, in a real local neighborhood, away from the tourist crowds. 🌿 Set within a traditional Balinese compound, our home has a spacious tropical garden, family shrines, and three playful dogs roaming around. Just a short distance from the house, you’ll find local warungs, a traditional market, museum, a temple, and an art market. This isn’t a hotel with 24/7 service, but a humble homestay with local hosts. We’ll welcome you like friends and share with you the the everyday life of Balinese :) Guest access In the kitchen, you’ll always find Bali coffee, tea, and sugar. A drinkable water gallon is available in the communal dining area for you to refill your bottle. We also use the common kitchen as our studio, where we hold cooking classes . Other than that, feel free to use the facilities, just please remember to clean up after yourself. You’ll find local markets nearby for fresh supplies if you’d like to cook, and some great warungs (small restaurants) within walking distance, many open until 10 pm. Ordering food online is also easy and worth trying through the Grab or Gojek apps. We can arrange airport pickup with trusted driver at a reasonable price. Highly recommended for a smooth arrival, especially if you land late at night. For getting around, you can use Trans Metro Dewata Bus, or simply book a ride through Grab or Gojek. Car hire with a driver is also available if you’d like something more personal.
