It's right next to forest so there is normally plenty of wildlife to see. The water that comes out of the taps in the house comes from a freshwater spring that is regularly checked by the commune - it's supposed to have medicinal benefits and there is a pilgrimage to the village every September to use the village's communal spring outlet.
