The pool is shared between the two guest apartments, with a maximum of four guests total (just two couples). We occasionally use it too, but only when it’s free and always with full respect for your space and peace. Loungers are set up on opposite sides of the pool (15 meters or 50 feet apart), so there’s plenty of room to relax privately. Thanks to different rhythms and long, lazy days, it often feels like you have the pool to yourself. Can we bring children or infants? Casa d’Olival is designed with adults in mind and caters exclusively to couples. We don’t accommodate children, infants, or anyone under 18. Thank you for understanding. Can we be more than 2 people in an apartment? No, sorry. Each apartment is for one couple only—no exceptions. It’s one of the ways we keep Casa d’Olival peaceful, quiet, and just the way our guests (and we) love it. Is there air conditioning? No air con, but the house has thick old stone walls that help it stay naturally cool. If you keep the windows open at night and close them early in the morning, the apartments stay surprisingly fresh. We also provide fans for the hotter days. Are there mosquitoes? Yes, like everywhere in Italy, but nothing crazy. We provide Vape mosquito repellents in each apartment to help keep them at bay. Is there parking? Yes. There is a reserved spot for each apartment on the road just near the house. It’s not private or gated, so parking is still at the guest’s responsibility. Can I bring a sports car? Yes, but again, it’s at your own responsibility. We’re tucked into the Tuscan hills, so keep that in mind when planning your drive. How do we find you? Please use Google Maps. Not Apple Maps, not Waze, and definitely not “I’ll figure it out.” Just Google Maps. You’ll receive the correct link before your arrival, and it works perfectly. Trust us on this one. Is Casa d’Olival walking distance to a town or restaurants? We’re in the countryside, so you’ll need a car. Shops, restaurants, and picturesque towns are all a short drive away, but not walkable. Is there Wi-Fi? Yes. Each apartment has its own Wi-Fi connection, and we have fiber. Do you offer laundry facilities? Yes. Each apartment has its own laundry room with a washing machine and an iron. No need to overpack. Do you offer breakfast or meals? No, the apartments are self-catering. But our welcome PDF includes great local food spots, wineries, and places to shop if you’d rather cook and dine at home. Can we check in early or check out late?
