Our spacious, beautifully furnished and quiet 1926 home is nestled on the top of Echo Park with amazing views of DTLA, Griffith Park Observatory and the Hollywood sign! Surrounded by beautiful gardens and many seating areas this private perch with be a quiet respite from all the activities just down the hill. Relaxation begins the moment you step into this sun-filled home with its gorgeous terraced garden. Colorful Bougainvillea, orange, lemon and olive trees surround the property. The patio has a large outdoor table for dining alfresco. The home is perfect for a truly indoor/outdoor vacation or business trip. The house has two floors, a fireplace, a basement where the wine cellar and washer/dryer are located. There are wood floors throughout. We have three large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The two upstairs bedrooms have their own balconies. The master has a Cal King bed, the other two twin size beds. The room downstairs has a new queen bed. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with a Viking oven, dishwasher, professional fridge and freezer, espresso machine etc. the kitchen flows into the airy dining room which opens onto our very private grapevine covered patio. In front of the house is a large terraced garden with several sunny and shaded sitting areas among the fruit trees and lavender. Our comfortable hillside home is centrally located and convenient to downtown LA, the 5, 101 and 110 freeways. There is plenty of street parking and a garage as well. There is a lovely coffee shop a 5 minute walk down the hill and many restaurants, bars and clubs on and around Sunset Blvd. We look forward to hosting you here! People tend to be friendly and many neighbors walk their dogs in Elysian Park early morning and evening. There is a yoga studio and cafe right down the street where you meet many locals. There is a DASH bus service to Sunset Blvd. and Union Station. Our guests have access to our entire home. We will be able to assist you during your stay.
