Eco home stay: rest for body and soul

Wooden house with all facilities, in nature, half the way from Irkutsk to Lake Baikal. Forest around, a green-lush garden with a lot of flowers, berries, and delicious organic vegetables... birds and squirrels waking you up in the morning…. And just a 1 min walk to the Angara river bay with crystal clear water, a perfect spot for having a swim after a relaxing sauna. The space Welcome to a Siberian dacha! My two-storied wooden house is recently built and has all the necessary facilities. There are four bedrooms (two of which are for guests), a bathroom with hot running water (bathtub/shower), a kitchen, a dining room, and a living room with a wood stove. Besides the main house, there is a little wooden house (cabin type) with a traditional Russian wood stove, and a room in the sauna house. Upon your wish and room availability, you can also choose one of those for your stay. There are two little food shops in the area, but to spare the provision efforts, you can order breakfast for an extra 5 euro per person, and dinner (9 euro per person). My guests say I am a good chef and I guarantee you won’t stay hungry )). During your stay, you can experience a dacha lifestyle with all its attributes like gardening, picking flowers and veggies, filling the water tanks in the sauna and heating the stove with wood, conserving self-grown berries and veggies for winter (and eating them of course :-)), sitting by the bonfire in the evenings and looking at the stars or relaxing in a hammock…. And enjoying the combination of the new and old, comfort and basic lifestyle, all in one place. You can enjoy relaxing walks along the river bank and in the forest at any time of the year. Swimming is best in July-August, mushroom-picking, in August-September. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask me. Greetings, Elena Guest access You can use the living and dining rooms downstairs and the terrace in the main house. The bathroom is shared, all the toiletries are provided. There is also a sauna house and a traditional Russian toilet on the property. Sauna is possible for an extra fee, please ask me 3 hours in advance. And you can enjoy the whole property (1300 square meters), including the bonfire-and-barbecue place, garden, hammock, and other cozy corners for your privacy. There is a little library in the house (mostly in English). Laundry is possible, reasonable amounts :-). Other things to note There are electric heaters in all rooms. The stove in the main house, as well as the stoves in the sauna and in the cabin house, are heated with wood. I have power outlets in each room, but you are advised to bring your own power adapters for your convenience.
