There are views of the city wall from your room right outside the house. The room is quiet as the city wall protects the house from city and traffic noise. The Attic room is up 2 flights of stairs and is clean with fresh bedding and bath towels provided. The room has a comfortable king size bed with tea and coffee making facilities, a sink, table and chairs and wardrobe. You get your own set of keys so you can come and go as you please. The 2 shared bathrooms on the 1st floor. This is a large 5 bedroom house very close to the centre of York, surrounded by York's Ancient City Wall literally outside the door (see Pictures), which protects the house from city noise and traffic. The City Centre is just 5 minutes walk away and its a 10 minutes walk to the train station (which connects with London in 2 hours, Leeds in 20 mins, Newcastle in 1 hour, Edinburgh 2 1/2 hours and Scarborough in 1 hour) Based on the 100's of reviews of this property, here are the TOP 10 THINGS people like: 1. Other things to note PARKING There is a Car Park nearby at Nunnery Lane Car Park which is a 5 minute walk. Parking is available via PayByPhone app for £20 for 24 hours.
